COVID-19
July 2020 Update
We are re-opening for on water activities on Saturna Island.
During these challenging times preventing the spread of COVID-19 and the health and safety of our customers and staff has to be our number one concern. Moving forward we will continue to monitor the situation and modify our actions and programs as required.
Precautionary Measures
Due to the risk of COVID-19, we ask that any participant who has a FEVER, COUGH, DIFFICULTY BREATHING, or RECENTLY TRAVELED outside of Canada, to stay at home and NOT attend your course, tour or rental booking. Please call us and we will work with you to reschedule.
KayakinSkills.com have added measures to mitigate the risk from COVID-19, including but not limited to: participant declaration and waiver, enhanced payment procedures, additional social distancing considerations including reduction of group size and rescue techniques, increased cleaning of equipment and sanitation.
However, by taking one of our courses, tours, or renting a kayak, you agree that:
- Any activity involves some risk of COVID-19 transmission.
- We are following a protocol to reduce or mitigate risk, but that risk cannot be reduced to zero.
- You are attending despite some risk.
